Ruth Brindle with Clinton County Port Authority and Gabe Drake with Blue Sky Construction Management join the podcast to share about the creation on the ‘Wilmington DRIVE Program’ after historic buildings collapsed in both Blanchester and New Vienna. The Port Authority is overseeing the funds, and contracting Blue Sky to stabilize the old Masonic Lodge building on Main Street. There is also a study happening with grant funds from JobsOhio in partnership with Wilmington College to see if a “coworking space” is feasible, however the Port Authority is open to other offers that will contribute to the building’s highest and best use.
