Construction to Begin on Davids Drive Shared-Use Path

WILMINGTON, Ohio (June 24, 2026)—The City of Wilmington is pleased to announce that construction of a new 11-foot shared-use path along Davids Drive will begin Monday, June 29, 2026, weather permitting.
The path will be located begin at the existing share-use path at the intersection of Lynne Lane and Davids Drive and terminate near Wilmington Christian Academy. Work is being performed by Fillmore Construction. Construction is expected to be completed by October 22, 2026, weather permitting.
While construction is underway lane shifts and closures will be in place and may change frequently.
The City of Wilmington asks that all motorists be patient, reduce speed, and exercise added caution when traveling near this work zone. Questions regarding the project may be made to the City Services Office at (937) 382-6509.
